What is MyChessPlan?

MyChessPlan analyzes your last 100 chess.com games, identifies your dominant weakness archetype (e.g. Endgame-Soft, Tactically-Blind), and produces a personalized 30-day improvement plan. It’s built for club / online players in the 800–2000 ELO range.

How long does it take to get a report?

About 60 seconds after submitting your chess.com username and email. The report is delivered on-screen and a copy is sent to your inbox.

Is it free?

The first report is free. There is no credit card required to run an analysis.

Do I need a chess.com account?

Yes. We pull your public game history from chess.com using your username. We do not need your password. Lichess support is on the roadmap.

What is a “weakness archetype”?

An archetype is the recurring pattern in how you lose. We identify 8 of them — Endgame-Soft, Tactically-Blind, Time-Trouble Addict, Opening-Lost, and four more. Knowing yours tells you what to study next. See the Archetypes Guide or read a sample report.

How accurate is the analysis?

We use Stockfish-level evaluation on every move of your last 100 games. Archetype confidence is reported on each report (typically 70–85%). The plan is calibrated to your rating band and time control mix.
